All of our vendors are required to have a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certificate. GMP is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. It is designed to minimize the risks involved in any pharmaceutical production that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product. All of our vendors are required to have GMP Certifications.
Good Agricultural Practices refers to farming methods that reduce the likelihood of contaminating produce. Implementation of practices that address water quality, manure and compost use, worker health and hygiene and contamination from wild life, domestic animals and livestock. The safety levels set in USP for botanical drugs are 10 ppm (parts per million) for Lead, 3 ppm for Arsenic, Mercury, and Cadmium respectively.
